UPDATE: Out of an abundance of caution, CUTR and FDOT have decided to postpone the 2020 Florida Commuter Transportation Summit to be held in Gainesville, Florida in May 2020 due to the coronavirus.  We hope to reschedule the event for later this year. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Join us for the 2020 Florida Commuter Transportation Summit, sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation, and hosted by the Center for Urban Transportation Research, in Gainesville, Florida on DATES TO BE DETERMINED.

Training Workshop:

The training workshop, “Strengthening Your Professional Effectiveness in Achieving Desired TDM Program Results,” will be held DATES TO BE DETERMINED.

The 2020 Florida Commuter Transportation Summit training workshop is designed to best strengthen the TDM professional’s efforts in meeting assigned TDM program goals by learning how to how to “anticipate” and “serve” the needs of your current or potential clients, focus your efforts for greater results, and incorporate key strategies to overcome challenges and constraints.

The interactive, specialized TDM professional training will focus on enhancing employer outreach efforts, establishing employer based TDM strategies, forming new vanpools and enhancing stakeholder support. The ROCS training will support each participant in developing a personalized toolbox of TDM effectiveness skills and strategies and offer a “challenge” to apply new learnings quickly.

A pre-training webinar will be held to detail participant’s current situations, review the training structure and outline expectations. In addition, a post-training webinar will be offered to provide an opportunity to share how participants have incorporated the newly learned skills and strategies into their work, respond to questions and reinforce training.
