The purpose of Florida's commuter assistance program is to provide travel choices to ensure mobility, sustain the quality of the environment, preserve community values and reduce energy consumption. The goal of this site, funded by the Florida Department of Transportation, is to provide easy access to the FREE services offered by various commuter assistance programs in Florida.  Some of these organizations are part of a transit agency or a non-profit corporation. Florida Department of Transportation's Policy for Transportation Demand Management (pdf 9/20/01)

FDOT procedures for the Commuter Assistance Program (pdf 9/24/02) This document establishes procedures and guidelines for the implementation of the Department's Commuter Assistance Program, identifies effective employer-based transportation demand management (TDM) strategies, fosters development of public/private partnerships, and funds appropriate eligible recipients to carry out commuter assistance program projects.
